Travel & Stillness
A space for grounded adventure, mindful exploration, and being fully present while moving through new places and experiences.
Grounded presence, meaningful exploration, and moments fully lived.
Travel, for me, is not just about where you go. It is about how you arrive.
Travel & Stillness is a space for grounded adventure, mindful exploration, and being fully present in each moment. From quiet mornings in new places to meaningful family adventures, this is where movement and stillness meet.
Here, I share travel experiences woven with nervous system awareness, simple grounding practices, and gentle reminders to slow down and truly take it all in. Whether the moment is expansive or ordinary, the intention is the same: to experience it fully.
Take a breath, look around, and explore what unfolds.
Morning in Key West: roosters greet the day during a quiet mindful walk.
After a full day of walking eight miles through the busy streets, I woke to an early Key West morning that felt like a gentle reset. Roosters called out as the sun rose, and wandering the empty streets allowed me to soak in the calm before the island fully woke. These simple travel moments are a reminder to explore fully while staying grounded, steady, and mindful.
Route 66 Through Oklahoma: Quirky Fun & Roadside Wonders
There’s something magical about hitting the open road and embracing the unexpected. Our Route 66 adventure through Oklahoma was full of quirky roadside charm. From the iconic Blue Whale of Catoosa (yes, it’s as whimsical as it sounds) to the fizzy delight of Pops with its towering soda bottle wall, every stop brought a little joy and wonder. And for a touch of awe, the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum reminded us of the rich history and spirit of the American West. Road trips like this aren’t just about the destinations, they’re about finding stillness and delight in the journey itself.
